• Why are IBR boilers recommended for all steam requirement capacities?
NIBR boilers generate wet steam and this creates problems in steam distribution and in pressure and temperature control of the process.
The IBR boilers respond well to fluctuating loads without affecting steam quality due to lower steam release velocities (dryness fraction – 0.98). According to this the IBR boiler is the better choice if dry steam is important.
• What are all the equipment where I can use only steam as a heating medium?
All the equipment in laundry and kitchen can be heated with steam. Also steam from a single source can be used in steam baths and swimming pool heating.
Steam is most economical and suitable medium for hot water generation. Hence, steam from a single source can be heating medium in each application.
• What is the best choice for most compact and economical hot water generation?

• Can condensate be recovered and reused for process, when NIBR type boilers are used?
Yes, boiler feed water is specially treated with water chemicals for softening and oxygen removal. Thus condensate is best source of water for reuse as feed water. In coil type boilers, hot condensate cannot be recovered because feed water temperature may shoot up and result in superheated steam.
