How should I control the temperature in different chambers of bottle washing machine? The bottle washing machine has 5 or more chambers where different temperatures are maintained. Steam is passed the coil and water bath is heated. The chamber temperature can be maintained by supplying suitable pressure steam and controlling the steam flow by Self-Actuating Temperature control. Can I recover flash steam and condensate from bottle washing machines? Yes. After proper trapping of steam, condensate can be taken by Flash Vessel of selected size and condensate then can be pumped to boiler feedwater using a Pressure Powered Pump Package Unit. Where can I use the generated flash steam? Flash steam can be maintained at pressure above 0 bar g up to 0.5 bar g. This flash steam has considerable heat content and can be used in Pasterilizer in case of beverage industry. What is the correct type of trap and other accessories to be installed on Heating/Boiling Pans? For any process heating application, Ball Float Steam Trap Module should be installed for efficient and fast removal of condensate. Air Vents with Dial Thermometer (AVDT) should be installed on other end of steam inlet to vent out the air from Jacket. The AVDT will also indicate the temperature in Jacket thus giving input of process parameters. On some heating applications I need to control both, steam pressure and temperature simultaneously. How do I achieve this? You can use Spirax DP 17T Valve correctly sized for the process parameters. This Valve controls both, pressure and temperature of steam and thus of the process.
