Five-Day Program for Working Engineers from Process Industries

The Center organizes at least one five-day intensive training program every month for working engineers from different industries. The nominations for this course have to be from the industry. These programs are structured to ensure that each participant draws an Energy Conservation Plan for his/her own work-area at the end of the program. In addition to coverage of all practical steam handling issues, participants are made to work on specific projects in small groups to encourage use of knowledge gained and refine presentation skills. They are made to design systems, evaluate potential and present benefits to the rest of the group for useful interaction. Till date we have had about 200+ engineers and managers who have benefited from this program and some of the industries that have confirmed positive gains are from HLL, MRL, Ciba, MRF, Coke, Pepsi, Novartis, Praj, etc.

The Steam Engineering Workshop conducted at the Forbes Marshall Steam Engineering Training Centre, Pune is a 5 day program specifically for Energy Managers & Process Engineers.

Using relevant case studies along with hands-on time on our unique simulation rigs, this programme shall enable you to evolve & take forward meaningful Energy Conservation measures for your plant.

What do we provide?
Our Steam Engineering Workshop is situated next to our Head Office in Pune.
The 5-day program will give you the opportunity to let your person in charge be trained in a learning friendly environment. To achieve this we limit the Batch size to a maximum of 25 participants. Our Air-conditioned and well-equipped Training Hall as well as an unique simulation rig will ensure most effective learning.
You will be trained by our well-experienced engineers in charge in each field of the Energy conservation as well as steam producing process.
The 5 day program will cover all aspects of the steam production and energy conservation process as well as a customised focus on topics which are of major interest for your own plant situation.
